Cake:
2 boxes cherries (113 grams or 4 ounces) cherries
2 1/2 deciliters (1cup) raisins
2 1/2 deciliters (1 cup) American Whisky
115 grams (4 ounces) butter
3 deciliters (1 1/4 cups) castor (white) sugar
1 deciliters (1/2 cup) brown sugar
3 eggs
200 grams (7 ounces) walnut cores
6 deciliters (2.5 cups) wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking-powder
Mix
castor sugar, brown sugar, butter, eggs, and whisky together
in a bowl. Set aside.
Combine
baking-powder, with sifted wheat flour.
Add
the baking-powder and flour to the sugar, butter, eggs, and
whisky. Blend until smooth.
Fold
in the remaining ingredients with a spatula.
Pour
into a greased and floured bread pan.
Bake
at 350 degrees for 35-40 min (watch after 35 min). Place on
cooling rack and enjoy !
