Introduction For 20 years, Liv Arnesen (Oslo, Norway) and Ann Bancroft (MN, USA) have been sparking the imagination in kids around the globe through their historic expeditions. Join these former school teachers and explorers on their Arctic Ocean 2007 Expedition beginning March 2007. The journey encourages Liv and Ann´s very powerful youth following to become aware of global climate change and learn how to do their part in slowing the process. Daily updates will teach about a variety of topics; eg. Arctic weather, sea ice, currents and the impact of Arctic climate change on the rest of the globe. Activities for students include GPS tracking, Measure your Carbon Footprint and Ask a Scientist net meetings.
